Carbon neutrality (CN)

The term Carbon Neutrality defines the achievement of a state of equilibrium between greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and their absorption/removal.
At an international level, PAS 2060 represents the most recognized document, pending the future development of ISO 14068. PAS 2060 defines the requirements for the quantification, reduction and compensation of GHG emissions in specific areas (e.g. organizations, products, projects and events).
The path towards Carbon Neutrality represents a crucial element for companies that want to contribute to the transition to a low carbon economy in accordance with the objectives set by the new European Green Deal .
